Our presenters come from many different backgrounds and teaching contexts, but they’ve all been in the classroom and faced practical dilemmas. Do any of these sound familiar?

  • “My students only do the minimum when I ask them to write. How can I get them to write more?”
  • “I’d like to do origami with my primary classes, but it sounds awfully complicated. And yes, it would be fun, but would it really help their English?”
  • “I have students of all ages mixed together. How am I supposed to teach baby boomers and Gen Z in the same class?”

There will be nine talks to choose from, so you’re sure to find something that connects with your professional needs and interests. Use the timetable to plan your evening. Which sessions will you attend? Come to the talks by Hamish Binns, Silvie Rasikova, Mercedes Luque and Beatriz Marbán to hear their answers to the dilemmas listed above!
